One of the worst Way marts in ever been in ... nobody knows what they r doin and don't know anything about what they r selling .. it's overpriced .. the produce sucks alot of mold .. I wouldn't recommend this store . Go to one in a nearby city

Well after a month of being dragged through the mud I think now is a good time to finally talk about it. On Monday November 6th I brought my first car (a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria that I had owned for less than a month) in for a seasonal tire change at the Wal-Mart tire shop in Camrose Alberta. Due to time restraints Wal-Mart were the only people able to do the tire change that day and I needed to bring the car to my new home in Edmonton. As I was driving my car to Edmonton the front driver side tire came off around 4:30pm as I was exiting Highway 21 at the turnoff to Highway 14. Thankfully nobody was near me and I was only travelling at 40 km/hr. I drove the car into the ditch, by some miracle I avoided sliding down the hill I had stopped on. The tire had come clean right off, they had not properly tightened the lugs on that tire. Once I determined what the hell happened I retrieved my tire and called a tow truck. Whilst waiting for the tow truck I contacted the shop lead from the Camrose Wal-Mart tire shop and was advised to bring the vehicle to the nearest Wal-Mart (i.e. South Common) and was told that all repairs and expenses would be handled by Wal-Mart. I had my car towed to South Common as instructed and the manager informed that I would have to pay for the expenses up front and would be reimbursed later by Wal-Mart. The next day the shop lead from South Common informed me that Wal-Mart would pay for the damages outright and would reimburse be for the tow truck bill (which was over $400). However a few days later a claim representative was assigned to me and told me that I would have to pay the mechanic bill and submit the receipts for reimbursement. However before I knew it the bill had reached $1500, I told the mechanics not to perform any further repairs to avoid incurring further costs I couldnt afford. My claims rep was not cooperative or sympathetic in the slightest, it was at this point when repairs were nearly completed they finally sent an appraiser to assess my vehicle. After hearing nothing for several days on Thursday November 16th the manager from the Camrose Wal-Mart contacted me informing me that all costs incurred would be paid directly by Wal-Mart immediately. The next day I contacted South Common and reaffirmed what Camrose told me, stating the car would likely be ready to collect on Saturday November 18th. Shortly after that call my claims rep finally returned my call from four days prior, she was unaware of Wal-Mart Camroses actions and prevented them from paying for the damages. Currently Wal-Mart claims is offering me $1200 compensation for damages and $420 reimbursement for the tow truck bill after I pay the bill at South Common, which is sitting at over $1800! I have not seen the appraisal report, nor will they let me speak with the appraiser. They are not willing to pay up front nor cover the full cost of the damages caused by their negligence. I am unemployed and am on a waiting list for college, I have no means of paying this outlandish bill. Simply put a multi billion dollar corporation put my life in danger, damaged my property, and has backed me into a corner. Ive been without my car for over a month, and this entire experience has been exhausting and miserable. I have hired a lawyer to seek restitution for these damages since Wal-Mart is not taking accountability. I am hoping to bring a swift resolution to this nonsense and avoid dragging this matter into court. I want everyone to know how Wal-Mart treats their customers and I want to tell everyone NEVER GET YOUR TIRES CHANGED AT WAL-MART!

They brought back self check-outs! And the machines work really well now. Makes the lines move much faster.

Its by far the best walmart in camrose. Id give it 5.1 stars if i could.

Poor service. Bought frozen fish that tasted moldy. Not happy
